Taupo Auto Electrical Services opened it’s doors in Ruapehu Street on December 2nd, 1963.
The business changed hands in 1973, and owner Colin provided Auto Electrical services to the Taupo community for 44 years.
Jody Green joined the team in the late 1990s, and Sam Gentil in 2007. In 2017 they took over the business as a team.

A stereo in a wheely bin!
Kids Greening Taupō is an environmental education programme connecting tamariki with nature.
We were asked to create a stereo in a wheely bin so the volunteers would have something to listen to.
With solar panels on top, this is a sustainable stereo unit for planting outings in the bush.
